went very well, according to the surgeon. and as long as I
can get Brooklyn to take her pain medication she is
getting around and feeling better everyday. Time will
tell us if the surgery worked. That was my
first and hopefully last time being involved with
surgery and children. I could never have been
prepared enough for the post surgery. Not only did I
get to care for my suffering child but I was in the midst
of many suffering children, who did not have
the benefit of recovery as quickly as Brooklyn.
It was a very heart wrenching and helpless feeling.
I spent my 2 days trying to manipulate
Brooklyn into eating SOMETHING, ANYTHING,
because that was our ticket home, if any of
you know her, this was a very difficult task.
But as always I ALWAYS win, and we
made it home, Thursday afternoon.
Thanks so much to my sisters, Satya and
Jessyka, my mom and my visiting Teacher,
who took turns watching our kids for the 3 days.
More on them later...

I'm so glad that the surgery went well. We've been praying for you guys :)
I'm so glad things went well. Surgery is the worst especially for kids. We've been there and it was horrible. I hope Brooklyn feels better today.
I am so happy that everything went well. She, and the rest of you, were in our prayers.
Lucia,
I am glad to have found your blog. I am glad to hear that Brooklyn's surgery went well. How scary that must have been for you.
I enjoyed looking at your cute kids and great blog. I watched your video and you seem like a great mother. I always knew that you would be a great one though. No surprises.
Take care,
Nathan Tanner
How dare you mock me and say that we haven't changed. Now you are right about Terra, but I am bald and fat. Those are two pretty big changes in my book.
Good to hear from ya!!
