So I'm not gonna lie... my biggest fear about Brooklyn's surgery,
was leaving my other two kids without me, for about 3 days. Obviously my
focus was backwards and I know that now. After watching part of a Dr. Phil episode
today {yes, i still watch him sometimes} I realized I might be somewhat of a
"hovering" parent. Thanks to situations like these I have to allow my kids time
away from me.
Anyway the first day I dropped Trent and Kendall off at my visiting Teachers
home {Ida}, bright and early. I felt like I was totally taking advantage of her, as a VT,
{she's in the process of planning a wedding, and she has 4 younger kids, whom she
takes to and from school everyday} and she was still so willing to cart my kids along
with her, because she said it was IMPORTANT that David came with me to the
hospital, instead of staying with the kids. She was right, i was so glad to have him
there. Don't let me forget to mention that she also brought us dinner that night we
came home and Brought Brooklyn her very own and most favorite Ice-cream.
Next my sister Satya, had the kids and she brought them to the hospital
after the surgery, along with a princess balloon, games for Brooklyn and Dinner
for all of us.

That night my mom had taken school off, just to come and watch the

kids for the following day.

And the final day, David dropped the kids off at Aunt

Jessyka's on his way to work.

I truly have Angel friends. My kids {one in particular} are not easy.
Thanks everyone for taking care of my treasures. They were in GOOD hands.

I guess I'm a hovering parent too. Glad to hear everything went well with the surgery and recovery. Thank goodness for family and friends, right?
