A Veteren's day hike... On our way to the Superstition's, with the Merrill's and the Boyds.  Meika, Kendall and Capri convinced us to swap cars. It's the little things that matter.

Barely into the hike and we found a trantula.  We had to stop for a photo shoot.

It was ready to fight.  We made the kids back up, since we didn't know much about them, I could just imagine it jumping onto their face or something.

The beautiful Superstition's... the kids are so ambtitious... get back on the path!

These 3 get along so well, even though they are all different ages. Halee is 9, Sage is 8 and Brook is 7.

Stopping for a drink.  Kendall hiked the whole way up.

The Boyds

Best buds. These two are so different, but they get along so well.

Brodee, Satya, & Capri

This is by far my favorite pic.  What is everyone doing? Such randomness, while we stop to look at the view or rest, whatever you want to call it.

The Norris' minus Brook, she ran way ahead with the older kids.

Halloween 2011

arr me hearties!

Well this year I conviced everyone to be pirates, mostly because I had purchased a few pirate accesories and Trenton's costume on clearance last year after Halloween.  So that was the inspiration. Trenton really wanted to be Batman again. After he saw the knife he got to carry, He was totally on board with the whole pirate thing.

Even mom and dad dressed up:)  Ok so David's beard is not real, I had some fun in paint.

We had a ward party at the Jeffery's house.  They had their traditional Haunted House.  They are really good at it.

candy, candy, candy, the girls were in heaven

The baby chicks have arrived... by mail!  We eat so many eggs at our house that it was only natural we had to raise our own chickens.  25 chicks, was the smallest number they would mail, so in the spring... hopefully, we'll be getting 25 eggs a day!!

They're so cute... until they poop on your hand, hee hee.  This is our "exotic bird" that was sent as an added gift. Brooklyn has claimed this one and appropriately named it Summer, since it's the only yellow bird.

Kendall and Trenton have since claimed their own birds and have me convinced they can tell them apart. They have their own names but they seem to change every day. Today it is Brownie (naturally) and I can't pronounce the names of Kendall's something like "mi-la" yesterday it was "ko-naw".  Love 3 year olds:)
