David's parents moved to Minersville, UT last summer. {it's a tiny little town near Cedar City} The landscape reminds me a lot of Snowflake area. Lots of wind, lots of dirt and lots of brush.
The kids had so much fun getting RE-Acquainted with their UTAH cousins
Feeding the horse was their favorite part, I would guess. Sarah was so into tying the bailing rope into knots. I was amazed, she must have learned that from her dad. I really enjoyed just following the kids around and watching them play.
So everyone except for me was out working hard on building the porch. It was kind of weird to not be helping, {growing up with my background and all} I'm sure I could have jumped in and helped. I can't decide if I was too lazy or if I was to worried about leaving my kids UN-attended. either way. I became the, self-proclaimed, Water girl... only for the morning and the lunch maker.

Anjuli {Quinn's wife}
Dad's ingenious idea was to paint all the boards before they nailed them up.
I thought it was VERY smart, but then again, I wasn't the one painting.
There's just something about a hard working guy that...
Like i said it was nice and windy, like find your trampoline in the neighbors yard windy, except they don't have any neighbors.
