My Princess!

Brooklyn is FINALLY old enough for dance class!

Ever since she can remember her cousins (Halee & Sage) have been in dance. At their recitals she just takes it all in; the "princess" leotard, the lights, the stage, the refreshments, it's a dream!

Well when I was prepping Brooklyn before class, I was trying to get her to EAT her lunch. I reminded her that she needed lots of food, so she would have energy to dance and there would be no food at dance class. "oh yes there is!" she said, "i remember." And then she continued to talk about how Trenton couldn't come because he would fall! (off the stage?) I knew at that moment I was in trouble. She thought Halee and Sage's recital was actually Dance class!


I tried to set her straight, but hey, I'm talking to a know it all 3-year old! So we went to class and she did magnificent! I was impressed that she actually listened to the teacher. I thought she had forgotten about the whole recital thing until we got in the car to go home and she said, "mom, can we go to dance class now!?"
