The Hansen Family
We were given names of actual families from the Wille handcart company. We studied up on the families and the company and shared stories with our kids along the way. This is before we were given our 11 children. I'm still waiting on pic of our whole family.
Each family had a little sister or brother who came along, One of Brooklyn's friends from school got to go too.

I cant believe they had kids as young as Brooklyn go. That is a nice change up from when we did it in high school. How did you she like it?
I was shocked at first too! She hated the first day. We hiked 15 miles and at about 10 pm some indians came and stole our oatmeal and she thought they were real indians. Then we finally made it to camp at 11PM it was a hard day for her. But she was spoiled the next few days:)
