Trenton has been so excited for his birthday this year! Since May and April are such big birthday months for our family, Trent has been observing all the celebrations and dreaming up what his big day would be like. He specifically wanted a red and blue Birthday Cake, I tried hard, and I even dumped the rest of the bottle of "RED" food coloring into the icing, and it still came out a little pink! And he didn't even complain.
Brooklyn even serenaded him with a special Birthday song!!! She swears she was only yawning... hee, hee, LOVE THESE PICS!
The day would not be complete without the trip to Toys R us. Since we're in the birthday club... Geoffery the Giraffe sends a birthday card with a $3 coupon every year to every kid in the family, on their birthday. We show up and announce that the BIRTHDAY BOY is here! They give him a crown and a balloon and then announce over the intercom that it's Trenton's Birthday. So as we're shopping throughout the store shoppers see the balloon and all and make him feel like a KING!!

I agree with Brooke- what a cute idea to decorate a cake with fishing lures. Clayton is SO into fishing right now...I need to steal that idea! In fact, when we missed you guys in Tucson, we were in Show Low & spent lots of time fishing.
