Ten days ago, without Kendall's permission, we started potty training! I figured, 3rd child, maybe I knew what I was doing, this time around. Seriously, What was i thinking?! This is Kendall I'm talking about, she is my hardest at everything! I've spent my week washing loads filled with Princess panties, {my only rule: once the diaper is off, it's not going back on}.
My first two kids figured this out the 1st day, an as long as I took them every hour, on the clock, we were good! Not this girl, she's so random! That first day I imagined throwing the towel in just about every half hour, It was usually triggered when I saw Kendall dropping another pair of soggy undies in my laundry pile... my pride kept me clinging to that one rule. By day 3 I was hopeful that i was smooth sailing. chuckle, chuckle. Today, day 10 armed with wipes, a few pairs of shorts and all the Dora whitey's I could round up, I headed out for some April brithday shopping. We only stopped at the Toys R Us Restroom twice... and used the Target bathroom... only 2 more times. But we came home, with dry clothes and happy hearts!
So for the record. Today was the first day out of 10 that I didn't have to clean up pee or the other thing! And to top it all off, I totally spaced kendall's 6:30 pm appointment with mother nature, must have been the crazy uno came i was trying to school Brook and Trent in, while keeping an eye on the wild one. At 7pm, I noticed Kendall jump and run, (which is a long story in itself, but If you have a Kendall you know what I'm talking about). I was up and after her, as quick as a 7 month pregnant lady, who's been shopping all day, can move, and after I finished my turn, of course. Expecting to find some kind of destruction in my freshly cleaned house, and instead I found her on the toilet! My little Kendall, and it was well worth it. I'll just cross my fingers for tomorrow...

Yay that is wonderful... I'll cross my fingers for you! I know what it is like to be that far along and cleaning up "stuff" not fun!!!
Way to go Lucia!!!!!! I hate potty training!! You are my hero!!! Keep up the great work!!! We have to get together again really soon!!
That is great news! I am dreading my turn with Kaari. Even after 4 kids, it's still a chore! Each kid is so different. I have a feeling she will give me a run for my money too. Good times ahead!
You are a trooper. I dont know if I could have lasted until day 10. Keep up the great work!
