Happy Birthday!

Trent's 1st Birthday!

Today is Trent's DAY! the 3rd birthday, for my kids, is the first one they finally get, that it's all about ME!

We have been counting down the days and the anxiety has been strong. In the years to come, I think I will wait until the day before his birthday to get him excited. Trenton has been anticipating his birthday since March. Leaving him to endure birthday after birthday of EVERYONE but him. April and May are our birthday months. So after celebrating 6 birthdays in less than a month. Trenton was under the impression that his birthday was coming, but it was never gonna come.

just a few weeks old

Last night we lit a candle on a cookie cake that A. Anjuli had made for him and When I brought it to him, he said, "it's not my birthday yet, it's Quinn's birthday!" He's so confused!

2 days old

This morning bright and early I heard Trenton get out of bed and I waited in my room for him to come in, There is no way he could miss the Big birthday sign or the Thomas cake, indicating that it was finally HIS DAY, but I found myself getting ready to excitedly remind him that his birthday had finally come... but there was no need. He entered my room looking very zombie'ish, {he never allows himself to actually wake up before he jumps out of bed.} And then proclaimed, IT"S MY BIRTHDAY!!!
