April 26th

Happy Birthday to one of my best friends, Satya. I've loved sharing 28 yrs of life with you. I feel so lucky to have always had a best friend to experience life with. From our young childhood, moving to a new town, during the middle of a school year, leaving to college together, along with Melissa and so many other details. When Satya got married I wrote a poem, {so I write poetry,maybe you didn't know} Anyway I wrote this poem for her, thinking our life together was over:

Duo

I think of life ahead

So close, so unfamiliar

And can not help,

But wish for yesterday.

Memories of our trials

And new experiances

When unfamiliar events

Were always endured together

When Life was giddy and free

No thoughts of ever parting

When lonliness

Was never even an option

Now standing here alone

Reminiscing days gone by

I can not help

But wish for yesterday.

Anyway, I was wrong we still hang out all the time and our husbands, who are the greatest. Don't care that we hang out all the time, In fact they get a long very well. I've even noticed that David has a lot of the same personality traits that Satya has, wierd, I know.

Someone should have told me my bangs were not cooperating.

So anyway Melissa, OUR best friend, and our sister Jessyka took us to get pedicures, It was a first for me and I loved it,yesterday, well Sat. I guess our birthday is over,by this point since it is past 12am. Thanks so much. And then On our birthday, SUnday Jessyka and Melissa made my favorite food {satya doesn't have a favorite} which mine was Homemade Pizza and Salad. And it was delicious! You guys are the best. Thanks eveyone for celebrating with us and Quinn and Anjuli who brought cake and Ice cream.
