One of my most favorite things about everyday life is a TRADITION! They're great. I keep most every tradition, David will put up with, and then create more. {He didn't like my parents tradition of Tomato soup for breakfast on Christmas morning} Anyway They make really good memories, I think.

This is me at 10:30pm on Valentines Eve. Just getting started on a procrastinated tradition. Although I think staying up all night trying to finish before the kids woke up, was part of the tradition. At least for my mom anyway.

side note: Do not put smaller cookies on the same pan as a large cookie. I'm pretty sure I figure that one out every year. But since making Sugar cookies is only something I enjoy doing on Valentines day. I seem to completly forget that little rule, up until it's time for the smaller cookies to come out, but the giant one is still, well, not done. {notice how the littel ones are already brown?}/span>

Finished! 1:30 AM

Okay I know that I just commented, but I just wanted to tell you guys how much I love you guys again!! I always love hanging out with you and it is so sad when we have to leave. I hope you had a great date. We ended up working on our house until about seven thirty. I love your cute kids and it is so much fun that Brooklyn is finally getting to the stage where she will give me a hug everytime I see her (I do have to ask for it, but I love it)!! Wow this is really long!! We love you!

That's funny, because Brooklyn was all worried that I didn't have a cookie and later I realized it was because she was worried that i would eat hers. She told me I could eat Kendall's
