So I was lucky enough to start my Thanksgiving Holiday on the Tuesday before! My sister Satya, I and all six of our kids loaded up in her car and drove up to Taylor, where my parents live! We Met our youngest sister there and our older sister and her family, live just down the street from my Mom & Dad. And all our husbands drove up together Wednesday after work!

We went from 80 degrees to 30 degrees!

We had a great time! My mom and I decided to tackle the Turkey this year! It was a first for both of us. (usually we leave the turkey to the men.) Well, being the picky eater I am, I couldn't just cook a dry tasteless turkey, so I searched for a good recipe to test our skills. We ended up soaking the turkey in a maple brine and then we used a recipe that suggested to cook the turkey, breast-side down... It proved to be a winning recipe and we even had moist white meat. The only bad part was that we didn't have many leftovers!
But every one's turned out so unique that we decided to forget the contest and we let the kids eat them.
we spent the evenings with a family favorite of "scum bucket." We ended up playing this card game into all hours of the night, almost every night!
As much fun as our vacation was... I'm very glad to be back in warm weather and a normal routine.

Looks like you guys had a great Thanksgiving. And Taylor was cold. We were not prepared for the weather either. It was so nice the first few days of the week there we went to the park. So when do you find out what you are having? We are so excited for you.

AHHHHH! That CANNOT be Jessyka! No freakin' way! She's so grown up! AND pregnant! AHHH! Seriously, since when did time fly by? I am still a senior in High School... in my head anyway! hee hee.
WHAT A FUN HOLIDAY! I am with Michelle, your Pember girls have stinkin' ADORABLE kids! Have more, we need cute kids in the world, for my kids to marry... ha ha.
